How to approve a service request
In some cases it is possible, that you are the person who needs to approve a service request raised to the IT department. This can include the following cases:
- Access to a folder you are responsible
- Access to a shared mailbox where you are responsible for
- Access a specific application where you cary the cost
- Access to an application you need to control
- ...
In all this cases, when a request is raised you will receive an email looking the following:
To approve the request you can click on the link: "For Approval Link click here"
After following this link you might logon to the Helpdesk Service Portal. Click on the top right "Login"
Login with your Curaden credentials (Email and password)
You should be redirected to the approval page, if not click on the field "Approve requests"
Here you have a list of pending approvals.
By clicking on a request, you find information about the request like who requested what and how much. You also see the costs if there are any involved.
On the top right click on "Approve" or "Reject"
Take note that you need to enter a reason for rejecting a request.
